In September 2024, Udemy teamed up with McLaren for an event in Nashville, in conjunction with the Music City Grand Prix IndyCar race. I was tasked with creating an animation for the event venue, and this is the end result.

In September 2024, Udemy teamed up with McLaren for an event in Nashville, in conjunction with the Music City Grand Prix IndyCar race. I was tasked with creating an animation for the event venue, and this is the end result. Given that the poster design (created by Ashley Meyers) leaned heavily on the use of a variable font, I knew I wanted to play with font weights, widths, and slants. She also used a halftone-style texture, which I decided to use in the animation to lean into the printed look.
P.S. The animation was built to loop, but of course you can't see that on YouTube. Forgive the sudden motion at the end :)
